Тиакса можно встретить прямо перед штаб-квартирой «Пламенного кулака» (Flaming Fist) в юго-западной части Врат Бальдура. Тиаксу во сне неоднократно являлся Сирик, который, по его словам, обещал сделать его властителем мира. Совершенно очевидно, что Тиакс не в своем уме.
История: вопросы о своем прошлом Тиакс игнорирует начисто, вместо ответа он предпочитает громогласно вещать о своем блестящем будущем. Он открыто поклоняется Сирику и отличается не меньшим, чем его божество, помрачением рассудка. Он без тени сомнения верит в то, что ему суждено править миром, и его пыл мешает ему разглядеть всю нелепость своих устремлений. Кажется, сейчас он не представляет опасности.

He met with the Protagonist in Baldur's Gate before travelling south to Amn, where he was captured by the Cowled Wizards as a 'deviant' and held in Spellhold.
When the Protagonist arrived in Spellhold, Tiax and the other inmates were released (he professed to only vaguely remember the Protagonist) in order to help attack the more powerful Irenicus . Tiax was killed in the ensuing spell battle, his dying words claiming that death was but a minor inconvenience to his plans for ruling all.
