 Below is a list of default hotkey commands that can be used 
 as shortcuts in Baldur's Gate II.  Of note are the "Hide 
 Interface" keys.  BG 2's features include the ability to 
 modify the game-world graphical user interface (GUI) 
 arrangement.  Side panels, and even the lower panel can be 
 removed, depending on your preference.  Here are the default
 hotkeys:  
 
 Pause Game (very important!)=space bar
 Back one level in interface=ESC
 Inventory=I
 Character Record=R
 Return To Game=G
 Journal=J
 Map=M
 Wizard/Sorcerer Spells=W
 Priest/Druid Spells=P
 Options=O
 Hide/Unhide Entire Interface=H
 Hide/Unhide Right Interface=U
 Hide/Unhide Left Interface=Y  
 Chat Window=T (multiplayer only)
 Location=X (gives X,Y coordinates of the particular area your party is in)
 Quick Save=Q
 Toggle party AI on/off=A
 
 You can modify these key bindings using the Hotkeys tab in BGConfig.
